The red lights for each focus point have stopped lighting up in my view finder. Can anyone help me with this? (Rebel T3i)

I couldn't find anything in the instruction manual about being able to turn the lights on or off so I'm not sure.

Place the camera into "One Shot" Autofocus mode.
Make sure your lens switch is set to "AF".
Turn the mode to the green "A" mode, and take a picture.
