The battery in my T4i seems to be draining quicker than it should, even when turned off. Anyone else having this problem?

Unfortunately, the Canon battery is the worst of all. Luckly I have 4 others. Thanks for the info.

How quick is quicker than it should? How are you using it, things like Live View and very long shutter speeds will eat up the battery much quicker than "normal" use.

I rarely use live view and the battery seems to run out of juice after taking about 40 - 50 shots. After being turned off, it stills drains the battery.

Yeah, that's not normal. Do you have more than 1 battery? I'd check with another and see if you get the same response. If not I'd suggest buying a new battery. I fully support use of 3rd party batteries, but if I was having battery trouble then I'd spend the extra coin and buy a Canon battery to make sure it's not the camera.
