EOS R5 Mark II doesn't show fully-charged batteries as full

I have two r5 mkii bodies and 4 original batteries. I’m charging the batteries to full and then when I put them in the cameras they only show as 2 bars charged. I’ve updated the firmware and it’s still doing it. Any ideas what’s going on? Both the cameras and the batteries are not even a year old.

I would try leaving them in the camera and plugged in and charging them to full via USB-C to see if you get a different result.  If you do, perhaps your wall charger might be defective rather than the batteries?

I have multiple chargers. They can’t all be defective.

Hi @KirstineWalton are these batteries the newer LP-E6P batteries. Or are these older LP-E6N or LP-E6NH batteries. If they are the latter then they may likely be due for replacement with the newer LP-E6P batteries.

They are all LP-E6P. Two came with the cameras and I bought two more

I just plugged one battery in to the wall charger, it showed fully charged. Put it in the camera and it showed as two blocks charged. Immediately took it out and put it in a different charger. Showed fully charged immediately. Put it back in the camera and it’s showing fully charged. 
It’s starting to look like both cameras are giving false readings? Possibly?

@KirstineWalton where did you purchase the batteries and camera from. How long have you had the camera and all the batteries for.

@KirstineWalton the camera is reporting the batteries as fully charged. Are you talking about the recharge performance?

That’s what they’re showing as right now but 5 mins ago it was only showing as 2 bars on the screen
