I am using a T1i and the edsdk to take a picture. When the camera is unable to focus, I am getting 1 of 2 errors back and then the camera locks up. The errors are EDS_ERR_TAKE_PICTURE_AF_NG (0x8d01) or 44313 (0xAD19). After this, the camera is "locked" and the only way I have been able to take another picture is to turn off the camera and turn it back on.
Is there any way to "unlock" the camera if I detect one of those errors by sending some command to the camera? I've tried sending BulbEnd and PressShutterButton without luck.
FWIW Using a T3i, I only get a EDS_ERR_TAKE_PICTURE_AF_NG error, and the camera does not lock up.
