Hi everyone,
I just bought a Canon R8. I do astrophotography with a William Optics lens. When I finish making my adjustment and I want to press the take photo button, the button does not work, it displays the message “capture failed” and does not take the photo. Do you know how to stop me from getting this error message? What is the way to remove this ''catch failure''.
Thank you for your knowledge.

Greetings,
You may need to enable release shutter without lens attached. Look under Custom Function 4
C.Fn4
Canon : Product Manual : EOS R8 : Custom Function Setting Items (start.canon)

Why on my R8 I don't have all the setting... strange? I cannot go at the function custom 4 because it's not there...
Do you know why?
Best!
