R7 vs R8 weather sealing?

I have a 6D MkI and I’m looking to replace it with a mirrorless, either the R7 or R8 which has better weather-sealing? I’m not concerned about the FF vs APS-C, it my age format is non issue.

Greetings,

Both cameras are weather sealed.

There are performance differences between the 2.  I think which you choose will be defined by other factors (features).  Type of photography you do (or want to do), and the lenses you might own now.

In general, the higher you move up the R-Series line, the more robust the water and dust resistence will be.  The cameras will definitely not be water or dust proof though.  Still need to be careful.

Also note that the camera is just half the equation.  If the lenses you'll be using do not have water or dust resistence, you'll need to be extra careful.
