Greetings,

Reset the network settings on your camera and delete the saved camera profile in the Canon Connect App on your mobile device.  Now perform the pairing again.

Thanks for the quick response - i finally got it working - i started with deleting the app on the iphone and the phone on the camera settings and connected to phone by wifi - this seemed to reset something because it was then able to connect to oc too

Hello,

I have the R7. I can successfully connect to my iPhone with Bluetooth, but when I try to use any of the functions, I get stuck on the following screen while the camera tries to connect to WiFi:

I’ve tried several ways of resetting the network settings and no matter what I do I get stuck on this step. I’ve been able to use this software to upload images from my camera to my phone before, what happened?

Greetings ,

Your actions essentially perform the same thing.  The reset and forget profile is all that's needed.

Greetings,

@alexbaransky,

Please look at the Wi-Fi settings on your camera.  Confirm the SSID name and password.  Now return to your phone and open Network and Internet settings.  Look for the name of your cameras broadcast.  Select it, enter the password.  Once connected, return to the CC App and ensure Wi-Fi pairing has completed.

Hi Rick, thanks for your response. I haven’t been able to get the camera to connect to WiFi, it always gets stuck on “searching for access points.” Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

*** It's best that you start a new thread, and not post to somebody else's thread that is dormant and marked resolved.

Your new thread should list your Canon camera model and the model and operating system of your mobile device.  Apple iOS, Android?  This ensures your issue gets the visibility and attention it deserves.

I or another community user will be happy to assist you. 🙂
