Currently using a Canon SL2 with a EFS 10-18mm Lens as a webcam for Youtube and Twitch streaming, looking to upgrade, and keep using my lens if possible with an adapter. My question is for only using it as a webcam essentially is it worth the extra money for the R50 or would the 100 be fine https://mobdro.bio/ ?

Both EOS R100 and EOS R50 will output clean HDMI so if you feed in to a capture device to stream then both will be better than your SL2 as they can be set to AF and face track with clean output.
The EOS R50 also has the ability to be setup so that it will stream direct to your computer form the USB-C port as it has the UAC/UVC ability that makes he camera look like a webcam without using a capture card or device. EOS R50 also has a special video demonstration mode, that makes the camera follow a person until that person holds some item up close to the camera then it will switch to the closer item being demonstrated / displayed.
Personally I'd suggest the EOS R50, but ultimately you make the choice.
