Since doing a software upgrade I can't reduce my shutter speed below 5", I used to be able to do 30" in manual/AV/TV modes - but not now. I have checked the minimum shutter speed and the one under ISO and they are correct.

"R5 V-1" shutter speed ?🤔

Sorry not following.  Are you using mechanical or electronic shutter?

I have firmware 2.1.0.  I can set 30" in manual mode.  Under Camera Tab 2, 4th item is Set shutter speed range.  I assume that is the one that you are referring to but thought I'd point it out just in case.

Maybe remove the battery to get a good reset?

There are limitations for the shutter speed when using electronic shutter mode.

The manual mentions this in the caution note.

Precautions when set to [Electronic]
Some restrictions on shutter speed apply. Shutter speeds slower than 0.5 sec. are not available.

I bet that's the issue.  I just tested with my R5 using the 35mm f/1.8 and it does not go below 5" when using the electronic shutter.
