R5 Electric Shutter suddenly will only take one image. It’s been shooting 20fps and not it is not.

Is the camera set to continuous high if not it will only take 1 picture. Single Shot will also do that too.

Are you sure its still set to continuous high and it hasn't been changed. Also what lens are you using please post the FULL NAME of the lens you're using. A complete would be RF 70-200mm F/2.8L IS USM Z not "RF 70-200mm L". Example lenses are posted below to help you identify your lens.

Electric shutter mode is continuous mode on the R5, it just stopped working. No settings were changes, I’m using the RF 100-500 with it.

Continuous what Low High or H+. There can be setting that's preventing that such as focus bracketing. I would save your settings to the SD Card then do a factory reset. Then reset the custom functions back to factory default.

fan4jg24,
How does your mechanical shutter behave? Has it stopped shooting bursts as well?

"Electric shutter mode is continuous mode on the R5"
That is incorrect. Elec. shutter is just one of the three different types of shutter you can select and has nothing to do with continuous shooting. You have to be in one of the continuous shooting modes regardless of the shutter mode.
Please double check that you are not in "One shot".

It only takes one on that mode as well, had wondered if I killed the drive. I’ve had the camera for 3 years and shoot everyday

fan4jg24,
Ah. So in both electric and mechanical shutter modes, your camera won't take a burst of shots. It sounds like the problem is in the high speed continuous setting. Does low speed continuous work, where it takes like 3 shots per second?
To me, it doesn't sound like your electronic shutter is the issue.
