Problem EOS RP Firmware 1.6.3

Hello, I bought an EOS RP, and it has Firmware 1.6.3. Compared to my 6d, continuous mode is very, very slow, looking like a child's camera and still with delay in the viewfinder, I'm using a LEXAR Professional 1880 scxc II card. I don't know why my camera arrived with this firmware, which is not even available on the Canon USA website, I would like to downgrade to the version that is available on the Canon USA website, firmware 1.6.0, to try to solve my problems, however to to downgrade, as I read, and watch some videos on YT, I need a memory card with this version that is in my camera, to then downgrade to the previous version. is that right? where can I get this 1.6.3 firmware to downgrade? Thanks

From the photo of the rear display on your camera the icon for the drive mode shows that you have selected low speed continuous drive which is 2.6 frames per second. This is the icon to the left of the CRAW icon.

You can change the drive mode to High Speed Continuous shooting, and the icon will change to show a H next to the drive to signify high speed drive. Since you are using SERVO AF then the maximum shooting speed will be 4 frames per second. If you use ONE SHOT AF then 5 frames per second is possible.

I'm not sure which page in the Portuguese manual it will be, but in the English PDF I downloaded the drive information is on page 206.

- What lens(es) are you using, or have you tried?
- What settings have you tried?
- Have you completely reset the camera back to defaults?
- Are you seeing any error messages?

Any additional details you provide will help the community better understand your issue.

Hi how are you, thanks for your feedback friend, I bought a new one on the Aliexpress website a month ago, I'm using a Viltrox EF-EOs R2 adapter lens 50mm 1.8 Stm Canon and Tamron 35mm 1.8..., the same speed problem in continuous mode and the same delay with all my lenses. No error message appears.

Lots of people have reported issues when using third party lens adapters. I’d try a Canon adapter with your Canon EF lens as first step.

Hi

Well, I bought this adapter because I've been watching videos on YT of people who bought the RP and use these Viltrox adapters, and they didn't have any problems. 😞

MY GOD, that was it. Thank you very much... I've been used to the 6D for a decade, too much technology for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
