Pink colour and grain in bright photos HELP

Rileymatthews

My Canon 6D just started to develop a problem where a pink grainy colour appears in the bright/white sections of my photos. I have tried 2 different lenses and the same issue occurs. It is worse in overexposed photos but even correcly exposed photos the pink grain shows in white sections of the photo. I have tried adjusting the white balance settings but the same problem occurs. Here is an example photo. I've tried googling but with no success  6174666336_IMG_7562.JPG

Try a brand new high quality SD card.  Yours may be corrupted.

I just bought this sd card. I just tried an SD card from another dslr but the same issue occurs

Reset your camera from the setup menu. (under Tools) This will bring it to a default  state which should bring you back to original.

If that doesn't work call 1 (800) 652-2666 Canon support.
