My canon rebel has a broken prong in the memory chip slot

My older canon rebel (not sure which version it is, was given as a gift), has a broken prong in the memory chip slot. How much would a repair for something like this typically cost? And how long would it take?

That would be an early model Rebel that uses a CF card. I think you would be better off contacting the Canon eStore and seeing about a Loyalty Upgrade on a refurb model. Canon will give a credit towrds a new refurbished camera that comes with the same warranty as new.
