Manual lens doesn't work on R7?

I bought this Rokinon 10mm F2.8 lens but the shutter won't do anything?

I'm in Manual mode and the front switch is also on Manual, am I missing any settings or I just can't use EF manual lens on R7? Anyone ever used any manual lens with EF adapter on R7?

Switch the camera to P shooting mode. Look for a menu setting that allows the camera to release the shutter without a lens attached.

The setting is “Release shutter w/o lens”, under custom functions - go to the next to the last tab in the menu, then in there page 4.
