Have you updated the Canon software since you upgraded to the new version of the Mac OS? If not, I recommend that you download the updates for EOS Utility and Digital Photo Professional from our website. Please refer to the link below:

At this time, updates to our software have not been specifically released for OS 10.9, but we have found that the versions we have now work quite well in most cases. When you get to the download page, select OS 10.8 as your operating system so the download links will appear.
