You would have to contact Canon directly about what is covered. If they need to replace the LCD, then they would replace the entire top assembly, not just the LCD.
Manufacturers no longer stock the menagerie of spare parts the make up a product, because it is too costly. Most of the parts would sit on the shelf and never move. So, instead, they save on inventory, and labor cost to the user, by stocking sub-assemblies.

Most likely it will be covered. Contact Canon and get it repaired while it is still under warranty.
