I deleted photos from the memory card and would like to recover.  Is there a way to do this?

I hope you haven't re used it since formatting. If you did that can make it more difficult. Here's the link to a good source for recovery software & I'd start with Recova which has a good reputation for doing it..

Use a memory card recovery softwar to recover the lost or deleted photos from memory card.

If you don't have any sucess with the free programs available Sandisk Rescue Pro can be downloaded for a test & if it finds the missing / damaged files you can then pay the licensing fee & retrieve your photos. I have used Rescue Pro more than once with excellent results. (Bailed out friends & relatives who either pulled the cable out while downloading or who formatted in camera by accident). Rescue Pro found files burried from more than 1 in camera format & reuse. Lexar also has a very good program for this but I don't remember it's name.  .

If, you have deleted any of the photos from memory card due to any reason, then, simply make use of Remo Recover. This tool restores various types of photo in matter of few minutes.

Hello, k2l2holt! Have you ever taken new pictures with your Canon camera after accidentally deleted the photos? If not, then you have a great chance to recover lost photos; otherwise lost photos may be overwritten by new photos, and completely disappeared (unrecoverable).
When performing Canon image recovery software, please note:
(1) Carefully check the “File Formats” the software supported; make sure it supports Canon RAW Formats: CR2 and CRW.
(2) To improve the chances of recovery, read the user manual carefully before making any operation.
(3) Do not buy any software unless it has found the lost files.
(4) Save the found pictures on your computer’s hard drive; do not re-save them to the memory card of your Canon camera.

Deleted photos and picture from memory card, I suggest outstanding photos recovery software, you can use Kernel for Digital Media Recovery Tool. It can recover deleted photos from PC hard drive, digital cameras, USB drives, flash memory cards including Compact Flash Card (CF), Smart Media Card, Secure Digital Card (SD), Multi-Media Card (MMC), XD Picture Card and etc. The software also available free trial version.
