IXUS 150 Memory card error on one card, others are OK

Hey,

I have a Canon IXUS 150 camera with which I took photos on a SD Memory Card SDC - 32M.

Now, I tried to read the SDC Card and the camera displays: "Memory card error" despite using the camera with other memory cards without any problems.

I asked Canon Portugal - canon.pt for support and they didn't give me any kind of support.

In view of the above, I would like to ask for your support in finding a solution to recover tje images I have on my Canon memory card.

Best regards

Greetings,

The ixus 150 is approximately 20 years old.  Did you purchase this camera new or used?  Did it ever work?

Storage media has to be formatted "in camera" before use. Was this done?

Have you tested using another media card?

I would recommend resetting the camera to defaults and testing with a different card.

To further troubleshoot the existing card, I would use a card reader connected to a PC.

Memory cards go bad. Use the underwear rule: "If it's doubtful, it's dirty" and throw it away.

Great suggestion.  🤣  I hadn't had my coffee yet and just realized he said only one is bad. Others are okay.
