Hello, k2l2holt! Have you ever taken new pictures with your Canon camera after accidentally deleted the photos? If not, then you have a great chance to recover lost photos; otherwise lost photos may be overwritten by new photos, and completely disappeared (unrecoverable).
When performing Canon image recovery software, please note:
(1) Carefully check the “File Formats” the software supported; make sure it supports Canon RAW Formats: CR2 and CRW.
(2) To improve the chances of recovery, read the user manual carefully before making any operation.
(3) Do not buy any software unless it has found the lost files.
(4) Save the found pictures on your computer’s hard drive; do not re-save them to the memory card of your Canon camera.

I downloaded the software last week to try and recover 4 years of deleted videos on my sony handycam hard drive. I can't believe how easy it was and that this software was able to recover over 99 deleted video files. I thought the family memories were gone forever but they are fully restored now. This [Removed link per FORUM GUIDELINES (solicitation - contains a "buy" button)] is amazing!!

I'm always shocked at how much money some companies charge for un-delete software. Many many years ago (back in the days of MS-DOS PCs) I wrote such a utility as a simple project to learn how the filesystem worked.
It's fairly easy because the FAT filesystem is fairly simplistic and it doesn't actually ever "delete" files... it simply marks the files as being deleted (so they no longer appear in a directory listing) and also marks the blocks of space on disk as being available for use.
If you delete a file accidentally, the most important bit is that you immediately STOP using the disk (or memory card) ... swap in a different card to keep shooting and set the first card aside. As long as nothing else over-wrote the space occupied by a file then that file CAN be "un-deleted".

You have to go for Wondershare Recoverit if you have deleted pics from SD card. It is quite simple to utilize this tool. My cousin told me about this tool last year when I deleted the folder of pics from my SD card and later when I tried to back up then it didn’t work. For more information, you need to watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W72j-h4uFcA. This software works perfectly fine with all devices and the results are very good. As the name shows, this software recovers all your lost data with the help of a few taps and that all you need to do.

Hey, friend! It is great to hear you have also restored your photos deleted from memory card. To be honest, last Friday, I had also deleted my camera memory card pictures by mistake and tried many data recovery software suggested online. Since I just know little about such data recovery knowledge, I just wasted much time in trying them all one by one. But, fortunately, I still take all my desired ones back with ease.
Read more information here:

Most importantly, also learn lesson to save memory card data backups elsewhere all the time, just like me.
Hope these words also could help anyone there.
