EOS 3000D Canon Connect - Recovering Lost Photos

My phone got stolen and it contains pictures that I've recently imported and deleted from my SD Card. I'm using EOS 3000D and I'm wondering if there's any way I could see the history of my imported/deleted photos via Canon Connect and hopefully use this to recover the photos.

No. The Canon Camera Connect app can not do what you want. Once images are deleted from the SD card, the memory space that those files occupied is marked as empty so that it can be used again. However, your images are still there, but the catch is there is no longer a map to those files in the File Allocation Table (FAT). So, you need specialized software to put them back together, provided you haven't used that SD card since files were last deleted.

You may have to pay for the software, but most have a free trial. Generally, the free trial will find your files but require a fee to restore them, so it boils down to how bad you want the files. It's been a while since I've used these types of apps, so I can't make a firm recommendation.

A quick search turned up several, but "Recuva", is what I used a while back.
