Do you own an older Speedotron unit? The units made in recent years works fine with the PC terminal on Canon 1 series equipment which is rated for up to 250 volts.
If your strobes are of the older type, then you will need to use one of the buffer/interface triggers but there is no need for that with modern flash units which already use low voltage triggering lines. The manual for your studio strobe will show the sync voltage level.
