EOS Rebel XS camera setting to shoot RAW

I have a EOS Rebel I want to know if it can be programmed to shoot in RAW and if it can how do I do it. I can't find the settings.

The markings on the camera says EOS Rebel XS. The manual has EOS Rebel XS and EOS 1000D
