Reddish in left of frame. Possibly a sensor problem.

Interesting question as it relates to a T7 which I have. I found a black thingy in the lower right, like someone reading a book. Is that what your are questioning? Watching for solution.

For me, a black line would be a dog hair.

John
Canon EOS T7; EF-S 18-55mm IS; EF 28-135mm IS; EF 75-300mm; Sigma 150-600mm DG

A curved black line could be hair. A straight line all the way across the image is likely a sensor/readout issue.

No, the photo the OP provided shows a single pixel line across the entire width of the image.  As John pointed out, it starts out a red, then ends black.

To my eye, it appears that the first third of the line (starting from the left) appears to be corrupted pixels, then goes black (blank).  Could be a sensor readout problem for that particular scan line.
