Hello,

Confirm Camera Settings
Check Wi-Fi/NFC Settings:
Go to the Menu on your Rebel T7 and ensure that Wi-Fi/NFC is enabled.
Select Wi-Fi function, then choose Connect to smartphone.
Reset Wi-Fi Settings:
If you’ve previously connected to another device, reset the camera's Wi-Fi settings:
Menu → Wi-Fi settings → Reset settings.
2. Update Firmware
Visit the Canon support site and check for firmware updates for your EOS Rebel T7. An outdated firmware version can cause communication errors.
Update the firmware if necessary using a memory card.
3. Reinstall Canon App
Download the Canon Camera Connect app from the Google Play Store on your Samsung S23 Ultra.
Ensure the app is up to date to avoid compatibility issues.
4. Establish a Connection
Using Wi-Fi:
Open the Canon Camera Connect app.
On the camera, choose Wi-Fi function → Connect to smartphone → Easy Connection.
Use your phone to connect to the camera's Wi-Fi network.
Enter the password displayed on the camera screen into your phone when prompted.
Using NFC (if supported):
Ensure NFC is enabled on your S23 Ultra.
Tap the phone on the NFC logo on the camera to initiate a connection.
5. Address Err12
If the error persists, it might indicate an issue with the camera's hardware or internal memory:

Power Cycle the Camera:
Turn off the camera, remove the battery and memory card, wait 2 minutes, then reinsert them.
Format the SD Card:
Backup your data, then format the SD card in the camera:
Menu → Format card.
Test with a New SD Card:
Use a Class 10 SD card with sufficient storage space.
6. Test USB Connection     progressive agent
If wireless options fail, try a direct USB connection:

Connect the Rebel T7 to your Samsung S23 Ultra using a USB cable (with a USB-C adapter if needed).
Use the Canon Camera Connect app or a compatible file transfer app to access photos.
7. Factory Reset the Camera
If none of the above works:

Reset the camera to factory settings:
Menu → Tools tab → Clear settings → Confirm.

Best Regards

Thank you! I had to reformat the SD card and restore the camera to it's original settings. That seemed to fix the issue.
