I have a Canon EOS Rebel T6 Digital SLR Camera. I have not had an issue moving photos from the camera to my computer before, until my latest shoot.
The photos look completely fine in the preview on the camera. However, when I move them to my computer via memory card, they look extremely blurry and not good. I would definitely appreciate any advice you may have about how to solve this. I believe the high-quality images are available, as I see them in the camera. But, if you have any ideas on the transfer so they show up on my computer, I would greatly appreciate it.

@Matthew_24 The screen on the camera is very small and camera shake and or blurry images may NOT be noticeable. It won’t be noticeable until you look at computer monitor which is much bigger than your camera’s LCD screen. Please post some example pictures in the forum. Is this your first time using a Digital SLR camera?

Here are two sample photos; they look blurry on the laptop, but fine on my camera. I am relatively new to this camera (receiving it about two months ago); however, I have done previous shoots since this, and the photos have turned out fine on the camera preview and my laptop before. In four camera shoots, this is the first time I have had trouble. The file sizes have all been similar, and outside of adjusting the camera dial between shots, I did what I have usually done.

@Matthew_24 check the AF/MF switch on the lens and make sure it’s set to AF. Also what mode are you shooting in on the top mode dial. Since you’re a beginner I recommend starting out with A+ Mode (Green Square, A).

It is set to AF, and I was using the A+ mode and the portrait mode. Do you think there is a way to get this resolved (getting the high-quality photos off of the memory card so they are not blurry)? Thanks again for your help!

@Matthew_24 Can you post a picture of the attached metadata for those pictures. Those pictures are definitely out of focus like the AF motor isn’t working or the lens is set to MF.

Yes, you'll need to see what settings the camera used when taking the photos. The shutter speed may have been set to a very slow value. And, when slow, unless you and your subjects are not moving at all, that can definitely introduce blur.

@rs-eos the pictures the OP posted look like the lens was set to MF instead of AF. This doesn't look like a shutter speed problem.

Can you post the images off the card on Dropbox or One Drive?
