I’m having an issue with my camera not saving the photos to the SD card. It’s a brand new SD card which I’ve formatted to the camera. I’ve verified that all the settings are correct. The SD card is inserted correctly and the battery is charged. When I take a photo, it seems normal. The display looks like the photo was taken. However, when I go to view the photos, I get the message “No Image”. Nothing was saved to the SD card. Does anyone know what would cause this?

Is it a full size card or a micro card with adapter?
You can look in the slot and see if any of the fingers are bent.
Can you low-level format the card in the camera?

It’s a full sized card. Brand new. 128GB.

Yes. I can low level format. I will try that.

I accidentally hit the accept as a solution button.
I cannot select the low level format box. It will not go to that box. Also, I looked in the SD slot, but it is tough to see if anything is wrong.

fishers1976,
Is it possible that you are accidentally formatting your card?
I know you said that you can't go to the low level formatting box, but that is sort of the default. If you hit OK, then the card formats. The reason I ask is that I just formatted my card, and I got the same message you did. "No Image".

Hmmm…strange.
I have an appointment with the Geek Squad at Best Buy tomorrow. I’m hoping they can figure out what’s causing that.

I believe 128GB is supported, but the T2i works best with 32GB or smaller media.

Thank you for the information. The manual says it can have up to 128GB. I also have a 16gb and it doesn’t work either. It is the SD card I’ve always used in the past, but now it doesn’t work.

What brand? Some off brands aren't real good. I use SanDisk. 128GB is a big card; IMO not needed. I use either 16GB or 32GB. They will hold a truckload of photos.
