Canon RP, R8, R6 II models, when the 3.5mm cable was connected to the audio recorder, radio stations could be heard. This happened with both the Rode and Sennheiser microphones. Even without the microphone. Even after connecting only the 3.5mm cable to the camera, FM stations could be heard.

Is the cable being used supplied by the microphone manufacturer or was it 3rd party? I ask because not all cables have adequate shielding.
Is it possible you are within close proximity to a powerful broadcast? Are you carrying a cell phone? Try turning it off.
