EOS R7 How to set minimum shutter speed

In the manual for the EOS R7 (pages 182-183) it shows how you can set a minimum shutter speed when using auto ISO in AV or P modes.  However, the camera has no such capability - you can only set the ISO range under the ISO speed settings.  I'm bummed.  Did or should the camera have this capability - maybe in an earlier software version?  I'm current in the sw updates for the camera.

Are you saying that if you set the camera to Av or P mode, that there is no "Min. shutter spd." entry under the ISO speed settings menu?

In skimming the User Manual, I don't see any notes called out that would hide that feature. But, it would be good to reset your camera back to defaults (see page 843) and see if that clears up the issue.

Yes, I set it to Av and there was only one option to set the ISO limits.  I'll try your suggestion - but I assume I lose anything from successive updates.  Thanks for your inputs - I tried finding some way to contact Canon support or anything similar but I just got caught in an infinite loop cycling through the same options, none of which were any help.

When resetting the camera, you would not lose any prior functionality from firmware updates.  So if you're at version 1.2.3 before the reset, the firmware will still be at 1.2.3 afterwards.
