Currently in Kruger National Park in Sth Africa. I have my R7 and my R6M2 with me. I am having troubles with the R6 embedding the correct time zone within my photos.
I have checked at least half a dozen times and the time zone set on both of my cameras is UTC +2 which incorrect for where I am.
However when i download the photos from my R6 to my Mac, it shows an embedded time and location as Riyadh Saudi Arabia or Turkey and the time zone is UTC +3 which means that when I have download photos from both cameras they are not in the correct order as to when they were taken. I have to manually go through and select the photos that were taken on the R6 and change the time zone and adjust the time to what it should be so that all photo are now in the order that they were taken.
I have gone through on both cameras and made sure that Wi-Fi Setting, Bluetooth settings and GPS devise settings are all disabled. I have even reset the communications settings a number of times and after doing that I have made sure that the selected time zone on both cameras is the same, but the R6 continually gives me a time zone either Turkey or Saudi Arabia.
Just wondering what I have missed? What am I doing wrong?

The problem might be with a setting called "Daylight Saving time" which will change the time zone setting by one hour. Or, the problem might be with the software you are using if all of the settings are correct and this might be checked by looking at the time for a photo on the playback screen of the camera.

I will check daylight saving time settings to see if that’s the problem? Thank you for that. As for the info imbedded in the photos I couldn’t find any. When I view a photo on the camera and click info I can see all manner of information but no time or GPS setting.
