Greetings,
First, I'm sorry about the issues you are experiencing. However, the fact that I see rust on the viewfinder screw, debris in the camera's nooks and crannies, and moisture related corrosion on the PCB and internals leaves no doubt that the camera was exposed to excessive moisture. Not sort of, kind of or maybe, but period. Weather sealed does not mean water proof. The condition of the body constitutes usage under extreme conditions. Operation in this environment should have warranted a CarePak. Just think, if you had one, you'd probably be holding a working camera now. I am a consumer advocate and believe in warranty, but there is reasonable and customary, and there is extreme. What I'm seeing. It was exposed to moisture, and / or not stored properly. Do you wipe it down after use? I purchased a dry cabinet this year. I love it. Its set to 70* and 45% humidity. I live in NorCal about a mile away from the ocean. Its wet here. We have humidity too. I am truly sorry, but your pictures tell the story and fate of your camera. You have my sympathy. Ultimately, I think this will be an expensive lesson. I'm sorry it's happened.

Rust and corrosion can occur even with nothing more than high humidity. I live in the SE US and experience it all the time, it's worst in the summer. Sorry that you had this problem.

Greetings,
This is unfortunate. It looks like issues with environmental exposure, weather conditions, maintenance and storage.
Humidity and mist are not friendly. Even fresh water contains pollutants and contaminants. The camera needs to be kept clean, wiped down regularly and stored in a climate-controlled environment. A locker with desiccant is not likely adequate.
I've only had one experience like this. I was a teenager and took my camera and lens to the beach. I was taking pictures of the surf. I didn't recall any spray but obviously there was because the front element of my lens was covered in fungus the next time I wanted to use my camera. That was a hard lesson. From that moment on, I always made sure my cameras were clean and dry after use.

It's unfortunate, but the photos you provide clearly and definitively confirm the opinion of Rick and Canon Turkey service that your camera has sustained significant oxidization damage. To quote you: "they also go boat tour and taking photos near the waterfalls' - so you do take it in the vicinity of water, and the moisture from waterfalls in the form of mist and microparticles can travel for significant distances with the water pressure and wind. It is not a case of one major event, but a slow repeated ingress of moisture in the air.
What lenses were you using with this camera body?
