The firmware won't finish updating... it looks like its almost done and then it runs until the battery dies. No matter if I reinstall on the SD card or change the battery, it just picks up where it left off. Using the cancel button is useless.
This camera is not even 30 days old. Any ideas how to fix (short of resetting the camera)?

Operator error. You need to use the SET button instead of the screen to download. I had to figure it out. Tech wanted me to return the camera to Canon.
