Hi, folks: I have not used pre-continuous shooting on my R6 Mk II, mainly because I don't want to have to deal with a single large file with umpteen images in it. However, I'm giving serious consideration to adding the R5 Mk II to my gear before the year is out, so I'm doing a lot of reading about it.
One question I haven't been able to sort out for myself is this: On the R5.2, is pre-cont. shooting restricted to a particular file type, i.e. RAW? Or can it be used with cRAW and/or JPEG as well?
Thanks in advance for any information you can provide!

You can choose the file types you want to capture with the pre-shooting feature.
This is the section of the manual, there are no notes or cautions that say it only works with RAW files.
