EOS R50 "Set button to cancel" error message

Hello everyone i recently today had a issue with my R50 using a 800m lens it started okay then 20 mins ago i started getting a error message saying set btn to cancel and the photo snapped about 40 secs on its own showing a red light anyone know how to solve this issue my setting were on animal and tv continuous shooting thanks

Greetings,

Please tell us the exact model of the lens you are using?  If you are using an adapter, we'll need the brand and model of it as well.  

The error message you're receiving has to do with a function that can't be completed.  We're happy to investigate this further with you, If you want to tell us the shooting mode you are using, etc.  

However, it might just be easier for you to reset the camera's settings to defaults and retest.  This should rule out a software or settings issue (user error) vs a hardware (lens, accessory or memory card) problem.
