JHill1989x

Hi: I am a new owner of the EOS R100, my frist camera.I especially enjoy shooting all things outdoors as that's where I spend alot of my time. I am hoping to get some tips and advice on time lapse videos with the moon, I did one tonight and couldnt get raid of the glare around the moon I dont know what I am doing wrong. I also have the chance to see the Northlights this weekend so any tips on how to capture them would be amazing!

Thanks for any advice!

How to Photograph the Northern Lights [[8 Steps]]

Is the glare around the moon atmospheric (fog/clouds) or from over exposure? Target exposure for moon would be the Loony 11 rule - f/11 and shutter spped = 1/ISO setting.

Thanks I will try changing my settings

Were there clouds? That can cause a "glare.", even a very thin layer.

I don't think there was clouds. But thanks for this tip
