Random Error70 on Canon Eos R which we all can read on the internet requires a new board which was I guess just poorly made.
Spend a fortune shipping and having it repaired to be disappointed upon return. I turn it on, and same error message.
I have documentation of attested repair. What are the chances this is due to the battery? They said they found the board was at fault, so sounds like they actually identified an issue when it was submitted to them. This leads me to believe my battery isn't the issue.
has anyone ever need to send something back a second time? what are the chances they will float the shipping this time and actually complete the repair? I get a feeling I am going to get a snotty response saying that I need to pay again to repair it.
I am on the brink of selling everything that I have that is Canon and switching it up. it's loaded, I'm upset. Is there a chance of them doing good on this? or am I boned?

If it was repaired by canon you should have a sheet that describes what was done plus a phone number.
Give them a call and discuss your issue.
