I'm trying to do a firmware update on my EOS M100. I guess it can't be done on my camera through the EOS utility app, and I don't have a card reader. Just wondering if there is a way to do the update via USB (not throught the utility app)? I can't seem to find a way online, but hoping the community may have some more info. If not then I guess I just have to buy a card reader *shrug*
Thanks in advace for any insight you may have!

Why can’t you use the EOS Utility to perform a firmware update? That’s one of the tasks it’s designed to perform.

It says it's not compatible with all devices... Instructions say to open the app, click "Camera Settings", and then "Firmware Update"... but firmware updat doesn't even exist in my settings, so I guess my camera isn't one of the compatible devices.
