EOS 6D Unable to register nickname for Wi-Fi

I'm trying to register a nickname so I can utilize the wifi option on my EOS 6D for the first time. However, when I get to the "Register Nickname" screen, I cannot access the letters or numbers box to select a name.  I can only exit the screen.  What should I do?  Thanks!

Try using the Quick Control dial to navigate and the Set button to select.
