EOS 6D Mark II preview images are black rectangles in Mac Finder, other images OK

We use EOS 6D and 6D Mk2 cameras, downloading to Mac running Sequoia 15.4.1. When we look at downloaded images in Finder on the Mac, the preview image from the 6D is fine, but from the 6D Mk2, the image is a black rectangle. Only difference I can see is that the Color profile in th eInformation panel under the preview is Adobe RGB (1998) in 6D images, while the color profile for the Mk 2 images is Display P3. Apple stated that "This is a known issue" and that it should be fixed within 2 - 3 days.......3 weeks ago. Anybody else experiencing this? Is it possible too reset the Mk 2 to produce the Adobe color profile?

Are you speaking about RAW files or JPEG?

For RAW, yes there's an existing bug in macOS where thumbnails just render as a black frame. Though I see this for both my CR2 (EOS 5D IV) and CR3 (EOS R5 II) files.

This wouldn't have anything to do with the color profile.

A workaround, albeit tedious, is to use either Gallery view in Finder (which will render a proper preview of the currently-selected file), or press Space when a file is selected to bring up a larger QuickLook preview.

Thanks Ricky,

Yes, it is with CR2 files. The space bar works! I will get Marilyn to use that until Apple get it sorted.
