Battery communication error - Start by inspecting the battery compartment. Look for dirt, bent pins or foreign materials. Try replacing the battery. I'd also reset the cameras main and custom settings. If this doesn't resolve. start a repair request like the above. You should be given an estimate and can decide at that point, the best path forward.
