Less than a month ago, I decided to buy a Canon EOS 30D from Keh that was in excellent quality. It has been great so far and I've taken over a thousand photos.
Today, I decided to take it out and take some photos at night when I pressed the button for the pop-up flash and the camera immediately crashed. Turning it off and on again normally wouldn't work, so I had to reload the battery. After that, I decide to just try taking a photo without the flash. Crashed again. Reload battery. I get confused so I go back indoors and try it again with proper lighting. Crashed once more. I'm able to turn on the camera and open the menu and scroll through it, however options like sensor cleaning causes the camera to crash.
Basically any button I press or setting I change that physically moves the camera in some way will cause the whole body to crash and I have to reload the battery. I've tried different lenses, CF cards, cleaned the sensor, and nothing. I haven't seen any bent or missing pins and I've also reinstalled the firmware. I'm at a complete loss.
