EOS-1D X Only Works in Manual Focus with No Lens

The camera only works in manual focus mode and when there is no lens.
Can't access the menu or see pictures.

I can switch between the camera modes but I have no access to the menu

plz help

So the menu isn't accessible at all for any of the modes? e.g. Manual, P, Av?

Hoping you'll be able to reset the camera's settings.

When you say "can't ... see pictures" do you mean when you press the blue arrow no images show on the LCD?

When you turn the camera on does anything show on the LCD? What happens if you cycle the Info button?

What you are asking or explaining makes no sense at all. Do you mean the camera will function when pushing the button but only when there is no lens attached? Of course you won't see images on the LCD if there is no lens attached. You can switch modes with the buttons on top left of the camera? But if you do the shutter won't fire?

My best advice is to send it to Canon if they still service the 1DX which they might not by now. Otherwise find a camera repair shop like Midwest Camera Repair.
