I was going to download some photos, RAW and jpg, for practice on DPP4. Now the 100Canon (DCIM) file is gone. I can find the DCIM folder on the camera, EOS Rebel T7 which shows a zero. Looked at the list of things on the left when I pull up DPP4. Nothing. Went back to review my previous message on editing to move the DCIM file. Again, no 100Canon to indicate the DCIM file. Hope I'm not too confusing. As always, your help is appreciated!

Greetings,
When the camera is disconnect from the computer, can you view images on the card?
If yes, I suggest you import them to your computer for archive or editing.
You can also use a card reader to transfer files.

I always download with a card reader. The jpg images are visible on the camera and my computer when downloaded. RAW photos are a blank with the appropriate "dot CR" designation. Trying to recover the DCIM which was 100Canon on my DPP4 file list. Now it has disappeared. Need it to edit photos. John Hoffman had given directions on moving the 100Canon on DPP4 for editing.

I don't believe I ever said to move the 100Canon folder; I showed you where it was on the SD card.
I do not understand what you mean by RAW photos blank with .CR designation. Can you post a screenshot of the file listings?
When your card is in the computer and DPP is running do you see something like this?

John, what you have outlined in red doesn't appear when downloading photos. I clicked on Library to check and it's nothing like the screenshot. I can pull up EOS Digital, starting with Start but it's not there.

Which operating system are you using? Windows 7/8/10, or macOS 10x/11?

Can you explain how you are downloading photos.
Do you have DPP running and an SD card in the card reader? If not, can you set it up that way? Then we can be working with the same configuration.

FIY, Windows 10. Open DPP4 and inserting card reader. Photos downloaded but what you are showing doesn't show up on the monitor. The only way I can view EOS_Digital is to go to Start and click on the menu, Canon Utiliies but it only shows DPP4 and lens registration tool.

You don't get something like this screen when you are using DPP?

Just took two photos on RAW/jpg, opened DPP4 and inserted the card reader, EOS_Digital shows up on the left side of DPP4. Found that photos downloaded OK to my C drive. But when I remove the card reader, EOS_Digital disappears!
