Clean HDMI out R50

I would like to use my Canon R50 with my Blackmagic ATEM Mini switcher. When I use it however, the focus icon does not go away and gets recorded on the output.  Is there a clean HDMI feature on this camera, if so, how do I set it up?

I'm using this setup with my EOS R10 / R6 / R6 Mk II and an ATEM mini myself.

With the EOS R50 camera in movie mode, go to the SHOOT6 menu, (6th page of red tabbed shoot menus) then find the setting for HDMI display. Change it to the first menu item so that the camera LCD / EVF is on and the HDMI output works.

Here's the screens for my EOS R10 - which is very similar, except the HDMI display setting is on the 7th page.

Welcome to the Canon forums.

Have you downloaded an electronic copy of the User Manual, yet?  If not, then you can download it from the Canon Product Support Page for the R50.  You can search for the phrase “Clean HDI” or just “HDMI”
