CarePAK Plus worth it for an R6 when I already have PPA insurance?

I have Professional Photographers of America's insurance, but after finding out that they don't cover light damage (a DJ's lasers hit my sensor) I am rethinking things. Just bought the R6 Mark II and I'm wondering if it's worth it to purchase the 4 year protection plan for it - CarePAK Plus - on top of the PPA insurance. Thoughts? Thanks everyone!

Greetings,

I purchase 4 yr protection on everything.  I have one lens not covered and the only reason why is because I bought it and left on vacation, then forgot to purchase when I came home.  Otherwise, I would have.  Its piece of mind.

I don't know what PPA covers, but I'll bet its a lot easier to get service directly from Canon without going through a 3rd party.   Its up to you of course, but if you need it, and lasers happen...  its nice to know you have assistance available from Canon.
