Hi, I have a canon 50D and am fairly sure the shutter assembly is broken. I keep getting error 30 and also a few other errors. It started of being random but now is at the point where it is doing it almost every shot. I have tried different lenses and batteries to no avail. I have two different cards and also does the same with either card installed. Has anyone replaced the shutter assembly themselves? I've heard the autofocus needs to be adjusted if you do this, so any advice on this would be appreciated. I'm trying to weigh up whether to pay the $400 Aussie dollars for Canon to fix it, attempt to fix it myself or just tossing it out.
Thanks in advance Luke
