Canon r5c duel base iso

For the canon r5c the camera has dual base iso. In photography would it be ideal to use those same  base iso. Does it apply to photos or only video??

The dual base ISO settings are specifically for video purposes.

There are 3 base iso speed settings supported, depending on the selected color space.
