I'm in Manual mode. The camera is set on 2 sec timer.. When I press the Q button I can select "Drive. Mode" bur when I enter Set" to cancel the 2 sec delay it simply returns me to shooting mode. Can some one please offer a solution.

Do a full reset to factory defaults. Check your manual if you don’t know how.

Ashbygirl,
This is just a wild guess, but could it be that when you hit the Set button, you are not canceling the 2-second delay, but instead telling the camera over and over again to use that setting?
Try scrolling down to a different setting, and then press Set.

How silly of me! Of course, that's the answer. Thanks
