I have a 5-year-old, and a 3-year-old R5, both with battery grips. I have 4 new batteries(LP-E6P) purchased in June of 2025. I also have several older but still functional batteries. I noticed battery consumption immediately. Both cameras have been used almost daily since being purchased from new. I use a 6oomm f4 on one exclusively, & switch between RF100-500 or an EF24-70 with adapter on the second body. I am suspiciuos of the firmware because both bodies are acting this way immediately. I have airplane mode turned on in both. Tried ECO mode on one. I have always used the LCD screen to review my images. Am I missing something? Please Help
