I have an EOS 90D and have been trying to use the focus stacking feature with no luck. I have followed the manual but the camera only takes one photo. I don’t see any where what other settings I should use.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

What lens?
What does or does not happen?

I am using a Sigma 24/70 EF lens. When I set the camera up for focus stacking everything looks good, but then when I press the shutter release button the lens focuses and the camera takes one shot only.

3rd Party lenses are hit and miss when it comes to compatibility. Only some of Canon’s 3rd Party lenses are compatible. Who knows if the Sigma lens is compatible with focus bracketing. Only Sigma will know and not Canon.

Thank you for the input. I will check out Sigma.
