Canon R10 AEB photo merging

amyjayne

Hello, I have a Canon R10 and have been taking some real estate photography where AEB is needed. I have AEB set up, and it takes the 3-5 photos with the different settings. Doesn’t it then merge those photos into one combined image within the camera? There must be some setting I am missing, I have looked everywhere and cannot seem to find it.  Or is post processing the only way to combine the images?  Thanks all!

You have just selected bracketing, that does not do any in-camera merging. What you want is HDR backlight mode:

In addition to Kevin's valuable input…

HDR Backlight Control is one of the SCN modes on the EOS R10, but if you want more control and use M/P/Tv/Av/Fv modes then you can also use HDR Mode on the second page of the red menus. This will take a series of three photos, and can be set to save a single JPG image that the camera creates from the three files, or save the three files. Individual images can be saved as RAW or JPG.

Thanks!  I think I need to move up to an R6 or R7 to get that feature. Appreciate it

My EOS R10 has that feature. You need to select M, P, Tv, Av, Fv mode for it to appear in the menu
